AskDatabase.com Rules!

By Chris Howard | April 17, 2009

There are multiple software applications that offer online customer satisfaction surveys such as FreeOnlineSurveys.com and QuestionPro.com.

My favorite is AskDatabase.com. With this, you can set up an Ask Campaign that can be used for complaints, compliments, or business suggestions. It can be something as simple as one question, “Was your experience good enough with us that you would recommend us to a friend?”

If you are scared to know the answer to that question, you have way bigger issues than customer service!

Making it easy for someone to give you feedback is key. Oh, and don’t forget to reward it. You could have a monthly or bi-monthly drawing for anyone who sends in feedback for a $25 gift certificate for Amazon, iTunes or even a prepaid Visa card.

If you buy in bulk, Bank of America will put your logo on pre-paid Visas you purchase from them. A prepaid credit card with your logo on it won’t soon be forgotten!

Follow up after you have received a complaint is mandatory for any business that values service excellence. If their issue is valid and you don’t take the time to acknowledge a complaint, you’ve now pissed them off twice. Don’t forget that some of your best opportunities to shine can come through by handling problems! Tune in for a great example coming soon.
