Keep Employees Informed

By Chris Howard | June 8, 2009

Let employees know if there will be physical changes happening in your business. Weekly meetings are highly recommended whether you are an offline or online business. If anybody comes up with an idea, ask the staff what they think the customers will think of it.

Many times, they are the ones who will know how to serve the customer better because they are the ones on the front lines.

Employees are critical to the success of any customer satisfaction program.  Make sure they feel free to express themselves and tell them you want to hear what customers are saying about the company. The more they know, the better they will become.

Be sure to discuss as a group any customer complaints your employees have been able to resolve, and take the time to acknowledge when an employee deals well with a difficult situation.

It is also important to compliment employees when they have done a good job regarding customer satisfaction – it will make a big difference to them and to company morale.
